(TRADE) Stuart to Calgary.
TO CALGARY
- Brad Stuart
- Wayne Primeau
- Conditional Draft Pick
TO BOSTON
- Chuck Kobasew
- Andrew Ference

The Calgary Flames have traded defenseman Andrew Ference and right winger Chuck Kobasew to the Boston Bruins in exchange for defenseman Brad Stuart, center Wayne Primeau and a conditional draft pick.
Stuart and Primeau originally came to the Bruins in the November 30, 2005 deal that sent Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks.

So now the Thornton trade yielded the bruins Marco Sturm (who will probably leave as a free agent this summer), Chuck Kobasew and Andrew Ference. Plus they had to throw in a conditional draft pick. That deal just keeps looking worse.

Alot of teams by the sounds of it were intrested in Stuart. I am shocked to see him go this close before the deadline. This trade is big for Calgary, Stuart will improve there defense drastically while Primeau will be able to muster up one or two goals before the playoffs.
Also, Boston recieved some good young talent in Kobasew and Ferance. In a few years they should both be at their prime and help out Boston.
