Are we going to have another pts contest this year? I think we should. It was a success last year. There was alot of participation.

It would be kind of fun to do it again this year but I would think that something would have been said before the season if it was going to continue again. Maybe GSA or the others who organized it last year can give us some insight to whether it's going to happen again this year.

I'm not sure it will happen this year. We need two things to make it happen:
1) people dedicated to take care of this contest
2) sponsor offering money

While I can work on finding 2), I don't have time to take care of 1). That's the situation for this contest.

Now that I'm finally able to post on a regular basis again, I'd be glad to run the points contest for this season if nobody else is able to.  

It'd be a shame not to have it again since it seemed like such a success last year.  If that's all that is keeping it from happening again, then we could always set the section back up and start it off at the first week of next month.  Better late than never.

That would be awesome if you could do that Oster. I agree, it would be a shame not to do it again. I think it would be alot of work. I wish I could help out but I'm not around th ecomputer that much any more. But if the contest is a go I'll play for sure.

I can also help with the PTS contest too. I dont mind at all,

Ok guys, the sponsor of last year is not responding. But it's ok I will pay for the contest. We will have 3 winners at the end, but no mid-season winners. I think it makes people stay till the end. So here what I suggest:
1st place: $60
2nd place: $30
3rd place: $15
