2007 IIHF Gold medal game

Canada vs Russia

Who's gonna win?

Canada's pretty awesome this year once again, but they do not have a standout goal scorer. They haven't even scored 20 goals yet in the tournament. Their strong point is defence, and of course goaltending. Do you think Russia can pierce through their defense and win gold?

RE: 2007 IIHF Gold medal game

Im in front of my TV with my laptop at this very moment waiting for the game to start.

I have full confidence in Price and our defence. I am positive Canada will be able to be the victor today.

LETS GO CANADA! Canada.PNG

3 straight golds and all of them over Russia. That was a great game. I don't think the Russians got much practice playing some weaker teams in their round robin. Good for Canada.
Does anyone know what those little horses were that the MVP's got. I seem to remember them getting watches most years. I guess these are some sort of local crafts but they seemed strange for MVP awards.

I guess they were just local crafts as you say. For guys who have lots of medals and trophies this was something unique. By the way, there was only one actual mvp award. The rest were for the all-star team and top players of the tournament.

Great Job Canada! Another Succesful World Junior!

In my opinion though, Canada vs USA was a much more exciting matchup with the shootout and all!
