Okay everybody...it's almost that time of year again for fantasy hockey. Just like last year, there's going to be a league through Yahoo. Instead of two leagues that happened last year, there's only going to be one. Both Julien and myself will be heading the whole thing so feel free to talk to one of if you have questions for post in this thread.

Here's some info:
We're going with somewhere between 14 and 20 total people to be GMs of different teams in the league (more than that if people are interested). We would like there to the same number of teams from both conferences so that there is equal number represented. It will be a one year league again just like last year.

We will be doing the Fantasy Hockey Leagues on Yahoo. You will need a Yahoo ID/account to play. If you don't have one, you can go to yahoo.com and sign up for free (the league is free too - you just have to make sure you have a Yahoo ID).

As far as the draft goes, we may do a live draft where everybody signs in and picks their players (they obviously don't have to all be from the same team - you can pick players from different teams) at a certain date and time but depending on what people want to do, the league could also be set up for an offline draft or an autopick draft.

I will stick with the same team as last year, The Florida Panthers. I won with them soo...

I know there was 1 or 2 other people who said they were interested but I don't remember who they are. If anybody knows somebody who would be interested in joining, point them in this direction and have them sign up. We'll gladly take more people. Hopefully Yahoo Fantasy Hockey will start up later this month, so we'll take teams then and pass out the league info then.

I'd love to join. I'm a big fan of fantasy hockey. I also remember reading on their website that registration will open up at the end of this month, so I'd expect to see it around the 27th or later.

I was just wondering if there was anybody else who would like to join. There's still plenty of spots open and feel free to recruit friends or other people in general.
