Fedoruk won't help for a while anyways, he's still out with a busted face thanks to Boogaard.

The picks are a 3rd and a 4th rounder, you can't really pinpoint who will be available in those rounds this early. Those kinds of moves are made draft day. I think this had more to do with dumping a little bit of salary. Personally I'd rather have kept Fedoruk and the 2nd than gotten a 4th and Parros.

I assume what Superstars means is that they are going to trade the picks for someone, not who they might pick in the draft. It would be very very difficult to trade for a 4th round pick and pick a player in the june draft that you were thinking about in November.

Ya, I guess so. A 3rd and 4th still aren't that much as trade bait.

They need the most help on D, with Rathje and Hatcher, they are slow.
Antero Niittymaki is actually a solid goaltender, that isn't the problem

And even then, that's if he ever plays again. Reports out of Anaheim are that there is questions as to whether Fedoruk will be able to do his job effectively in the future. If that's the case, I feel terrible for the guy!

"How would you know? When I played you were in your 3rd year of
8th grade." - Ducks color analyst Brian Hayward to Sean Avery.

I would feel bad if he hadn't chased Boogard down the ice in the first place.

Ya, he made the mistake in picking the fight. Way outclassed, there was no point. What have they said about him not being able to play? I didn't think it was that serious.
