Pretty good moves by Burke. Chistov is dead weight (and a huge slacker) and Fedoruk is damaged goods. Don't get me wrong, I love The Fridge and I'm sad to see him go but this is his 2nd facial injury in a couple of seasons. As for Parros for a 2nd round pick, I don't see that as a good deal, but Burke probably has something (probably a big deal) up his sleave.

You got the details wrong bud. They got a 3rd for Chistov. I don't understand the acquisition of Parros though. He cost more than what they got for Fedoruk and he's not any better than him. Just a minor deal anyways.

how is Parros worth a second round pick? Maybe I'm missing something there. He was on waivers a little while ago.
Chistov was seen as great potential in his rookie year, maybe he can put it together in Boston

Chistov will certainly get a better chance with the struggling bruins than he did with the ducks. And you're right about Parros, he's definetely not worth a 2nd. Colorado picked him up from the kings.

Well I don't know why the Flyers did this. Only gave up a 4th rounder but it doesn't help the team.

The Flyers need ANY kind of help at the moment.

I said that this trade doesn't help the team, it won't help the team to bring in someone who isn't as good as anyone else on the team. Eager can do anything Fedoruk can physically plus Eager is better offensivly. Plus fedoruk isn't even playing right now, all the Flyers have done is raise their payroll, that doesn't help the team.

Is Eager the nickename or last name of a player?

Anywho, despite what TSN says, Fedoruk is actually a very fast player. He was actually one of the faster players on the Anaheim roster. That, at least, should help the Flyers.

His name is Ben Eager, tough winger, basic enforcer but still contributes on the scoresheet. The Flyers aren't slow at forward. They need speed on defence.
