Alexei Emelin will stay in Russia for the next two years. For people who don't know him, Alexei Emelin is a gritty and talented young defenseman, in the mold of Darius Kasparaitis, that have impress a lot of person at the World Junior Championship.

I would have seen him in Hamilton this year, and probably taking a regular shift with the big clubs next year. I hope he will come to North America one day, because he would be a good 2nd pairing defenseman.
