Another use for a hockey stick
Let me preface this story by saying I have had the flu the last couple days.
Last night I had a hockey game. Despite being sick I played. I think it was good because I seemed to feel better when I got home. It was weird skating because I felt very spacey. I was an ornery player too. I got away with three different penalties with the ref kind of scoulding me rather than making the call. After the game I must have looked pretty bad because everyone was asking me if I was alright.
Anyway, on to the story of "Another use for a hockey stick":
So there I am winding down from hockey and not feeling 100%. I was falling asleep on the sofa with the TV going. All the sudden my Black Lab "Buddy" starts barking like mad. I'm like what the heck, SHUT UP!! So I decide I will turn off the lights & TV and call it a night. Well to my surprise I see why Buddy is barking. There was a 3ft ball python on my kitchen floor. I was freaked out! I hate snakes! So I'm running around wondering what I should do. I decided I would try to scoot it out the back door with my hockey stick. That didn't work. The snake disappeared underneath my kitchen cabinets. So about 20 minutes later it reappears and I attempt again to scoot it out of the house with hockey sticks. Again it gets away. Finally after awhile it reappears for a third visit. This time I decided I was going to have to kill it. So I whacked in the head with my hockey stick. Then I kind of scooped it up on the blade of my stick and took it out in the yard.
Sorry to all you snake lovers but this guy had no business in my house.
YIKES,
John

Ohh my.. I would be so freaked out ! You never know what a Hockey Stick can be used for Yeah what gsa said, I total expected a different story, When you said your dog started to bark, I was thinking some one was robbing your house, and you used a Hockey Stick to scare him away. But any way Hope every thing is good and no more snakes get in! How'd it get in anyways?

Holy crap, I know what you mean when you said you hate snakes. I feel the same way. The only difference between you and I are, I would have ran away screaming like a little school girl.It is a neat story though. I guess you have to use what ever you can get your hands on to do the job.
P.S where are you from wingsfan
