Are da wings tough enough?
After the Wings got pushed around by Philly last week, does anyone think the Wings can make a serious run in the playoffs if they dont pick up some toughness or size before the trade deadline?

RE: Are da wings tough enough?
The Wings will be there. I wouldn't be worried about one game that the Wings probably didn't take to seriously. I mean Philly has about half the points of any other team in the league. I am sure the Wings weren't playing their hardest. I didn't see the game so I don't know but did they even play the important key players.

RE: Are da wings tough enough?
I underdstand that there could have been many reasons for the poor play. Macdonald got flattened a few times that there was nothing done about it. Lebda was jumped and punched in the head about 5 or 6 times and nothing was done about it. Those are just two examples of this. The Wings literally got pushed around. Mac and Shanny are gone. Chelly cant be going blow for blow anymore....I hope I am wrong but I dont think they can go far if they dont add some toughness.

the wings have got toughness enough, they just really have a smart coach, when the playoffs are due you'll see from which wood those guys are cut

RE: Are da wings tough enough?
it wasn't there best game, the whole game was rather strange,in the first period there were 20 penalty minutes from which ten of them were no penalties at all,the oilers got some lucky bounces and hasek made two mistakes.but yeah basically the oilers outsmarted them.
