Auld a Coyote

Alex Auld has signed a 1 year deal with the Phoenix Coyotes. Auld was a former goalie for the Canucks and Panthers. Auld had a sucessful time while playing for the canucks, He was later shipped in part of the Luongo/ Bertuzzi trade. He didnt do so well in Florida.

I feel sorry for the Coyotes. Auld seemed to have lost his confidence last year. After that he just plan sucked. Maybe he can get his mojo back with his new team.

He was rumored to be going to Europe. I guess not now.

Looks like the Coyotes almost guaranteed they'll get the #1 pick next year with the goaltending duo of Auld/Aebischer. I'll wager money that they suck in '09, too and Gary Bettman will set it up so they can draft Tavares and then resurrect hockey in the American South.
