I am hearing down hear Belfour would like a raise and a starting goalie spot in order to stay in FL. I am not sure he is worth more than $1.5 million per year.

Belfours recent trouble with the law could play into he deals.

There has also been talk of Belfour going to Russia to play. I guess they pay nearly as well as the NHL. Plus bonus Vodka!

There is some rumblings that Florida is after Fernandez (Minn) or Jiggy (Ana).

With the cap going up for sure, I can see FLA acquireing (sp?) a better and younger goalie.

I can't imagine him getting more than he did last year. I think if he's in it for the money, he'll go to Russia and play there. He's too old and there is a large market of available goalies this offseason.
