What are some of the greatest goals you've ever scored or been involved in?

For me, it was a couple of years ago. I had a breakaway and I was coming in from the right side (I'm a right handed shot) and I faked to my backhand and then toe-dragged the puck between my legs and roofed it over the goalie's glove hand. Basically it was the goal that Marek Malik made last year in a shootout. It was a move that I had always done in practice but never had the opportunity to do in a game and I was really excited when I was able to pull it off.


As far as assists go, it was my junior year of High School and my second on the Varsity Team. I was coming down the left side and sent a saucer pass to a teammate streaking towards the goal. It landed perfectly just inches before his blade and he re-directed it into the top left corner.

Mine are all boring ones from the point. heh.

I dont shoot much, Im mostly there to be big and mean. :-)

mine would have to be hen I was standing in front of the net I tipped the point shot it hit off the goalie and then I turned around and hit it in outta mid air.....it was pretty sweet and my best assist would have to be when I came flying up the ice on a 1 on 1 break I had no shot at getting aaround the d so I did a drop pass and cut to my right and the defense followed me because I did it so quivk then my teammate picked the puck up and score top left corner, very nice goal

I am with tkaine, I play defense so I rarely get good scoring chances.

But my favorite was an overtime/game winner in the last game of the season.  I scored less than a minute into the OT period.  Back-handed it at the net and made it through five hole.  That was awesome!  Oh yeah it was my first goal for that season.  I couldn't have waitted any longer to get one.

Sounds like a big goal, Wingsfan. Those are always the best to score. I love the feeling of your entire team mobbing you. It's great!

Playing street hockey, I flung the ball up into the air and it came down right behind the goalie and rolled off of his back into the net .

During my freshmen year of High School I was driving hard to the net and fell down in front of the crease only to find the puck sitting their right next to my stick and the goalie way out of position, so while laying on my side I shoveled the puck into the net. By far the laziest goal ever!

Speaking of beautiful goals, go on NHL.com tomorrow to check out the first goal from The Ducks vs. Coyotes game tonight. It was a beautiful re-direction by Selanne. Absolutely beautiful.

I never scored any goals in 15 years of hockey . I'm not the kind of player who's shooting on net though. I tried once, but it was block by an opposing player ... Maybe one day!
