I would definatly have to agree with that one but Campbell had another good hit on jan bullis against montreal.

Also there was another good hit in the playoofs between Colorado and Anaheim i forgot who made the hit but i know it was Andrew Burnett that got laid out.

Here's one from the Pacific Division - In an LA/Edmonton game, Dustin Brown knocked Chris Pronger on his butt. Pronger was ticked off and had a few words with young Mr. Brown. It appeared that Pronger could dish it out, but didn't like it when he was on the receiving end of a hit. By the way, the hit was clean. A few shifts later, Brownie went and stripped the puck away from Pronger and scored. In a season of lowlights, that one one of the highlights.

I agree, the Cambell hit on Umberger was by far the best hit of the year, however, there are two more I remember vividly. Altough dirty, the Kasparitus hit of Tim Conolloy was good along with the hit where the guy (Ritchie was it?) come off the bend and took the knees out on some other fella.

The Hits of Darius Kasparaitis were hard too. But the one that I prefer is when Francis BOuilolon hit a Penguin' player between Huet's net, after he skated all the ice and pass to bulis I think. Bulis taked the pass and scored!

i'm going to say the hit on umberger from campbell. that was from one of the first two rounds of the playoffs when the sabres were playing the flyers, right?

Gauthier had a huge hit on one of the rangers. I think it was Rucinsky but I can't remember.
