The Columbus Blue Jackets re-signed defenceman Ron Hainsey to a $1.475-million, two-year deal. Hainsey, 25, had 17 points (2-15) and 43 penalty minutes in 55 games with the Jackets after being claimed off waivers from Montreal on Nov. 29. He'll earn $575,000 next season and $900,000 in 2007-08.
