Great pick up for Columbus if Peca can stay healthy....key word being "if."

1 year contract with a non-contender. Probably just end up being someone to move for a pick at the deadline when they don't come close to making the playoffs.

Most likely...I just don't see why anyone would want to play in Columbus regardless of how much money they are offered.

Some players like being "big man on campus", like Havlat, for example. He enjoys being in Chicago because being surrounded by that cast he is a superstar, whereas he would fly under the radar on many other teams.

Still though...Columbus? I could see Chicago since that's actually an interesting city and it's an Original Six team...but Columbus? Don't get me wrong, my Mom is from Ohio and I like the state but it's not exactly a hockey hot bed...although I suppose you could say the same about every city in the Sunbelt.
