RE: Blues Sign Legace

well from what i have seen of him, yeah i would say he may be suited for the ahl starter/nhl backup. im not saying he wont become an nhl starter... he may well be given some more experience from a goalie like legace.

RE: Blues Sign Legace

For a horrible team he had a 2.66 gaa and a .908 sv% and you think he should play in the ahl?

RE: Blues Sign Legace

Level of competition isn't as good. Legace isn't far better than him and he's not a goalie like Luongo or Brodeur who expects to play 70 games so Sanford should get quite a few starts. Cam Ward could have played in Lowell last year but instead was in the nhl in the backup role and it served him better. Same thing with Sanford I think.

exactly
Legace has to win the starters job from Sanford first. It was Sanfords if they didn't get anyone else.
I think Sanford is ready to be a number 1, maybe a #1a, but he should play about 30-50 Games, depending on how Legace Competes

Because they have Jason Bacashihua there now, who would have been the back-up this year.
