Blues sign Martin Rucinsky

There's no mention whatsoever of contract length or salary. The blues aren't getting any younger with their signings this off-season. He should help with scoring but it'll be interesting to see how the team is overall.

Well, he fit in well on Team Czech!
I wonder how he'll play without Jagr, Prucha, Straka, etc.

Decent pickup, not a huge fan of Martin Rucinsky.

I thought the blues was going thrugh a rebuilding mode with their poor season last year. It seems I was wrong.

Ruca will play with his friend Petr Cajanek and also Doug Weight. He wants 2 years contract and NYR want only 1 year .... So thats why he sign with STL - Thats all Smile

He won't play with both Cajanek and Weight, they're both centers who are most effective at that position. Weight can play wing but he's not all that good at it. With his passing skills you want him at center. He'll probably center a line of Tkachuk-Weight-Guerin and then there second line will probably be Rucinsky-Cajanek-Stempniak.

I mean that they will play together in one team not in the same line. Maybe with Cajanek he will play but line Rucinsky Cajanek and Weight isnt very possible.

It could be done but it wouldn't be all that effective.
