RE: Brian Leetch rumor

Leetch is most likely going to the Oilers, it only makes a perfect fit. They have a chance to make the playoffs, then again the Rangers might have a better chance outta all the teams that will be playing this season that are in the Leetch hunt!

Heres a better question. Who is really willing to take a chance on a 38 year old player that has bad knees?

The Bruins are smart for not trying to get Leetch to come back. Lets hope he goes to the Rangers so they get stuck with injuries, and slow play on the puck. Leetch has lost a step, and that can only help the opposing team in the long run

RE: Brian Leetch rumor

Helped the Bruins? He was a salary burden, and he had bad knees. He should retire with the Rangers, but will end up dry and washed up with the oilers!

Who am i kidding. Im just pissed the bruins had no defense last season! Its not leetch's fault, but he only played in 61 games with 32 points, not bad but not worth the $4 million the B's paid him.

Of course maybe that is a factor in the Organization’s shuffle!

NYR have made alot of stupid moves... ie payed way to much for 'stars' that have failed for them. If they do pick up Leetch, it wont be for very much

That's the old Rangers, the only move you can point out as dumb last season was acquiring Ozolinsh. Then again, hindsight is 20/20, nobody could have foretold he would be so ineffective after a relatively brilliant performance at the Olympic Games.

RE: Brian Leetch rumor

Ranger35 you are 100% right... at the time Ozolinsh was a good move for the rangers because of his form at the time. and as you said... nobody can predict how he turned out for them, which was a bit of a bummer cos he can play!

RE: Brian Leetch rumor

The Toronto Mapleleafs have expressed interest in Leetch since the injury to Pavel Kubina. The only problem is the salary cap. Philly still remains the front runner for his services.

:fight::fishing2:Sorry but I think he should be fishing and not by pulling the pucks out of own net. Brian you have more class to come back why don't you retire a star and not someone looking for an extra dollar I'm sure you don't need it, show some class

RE: Brian Leetch rumor

Does anybody honestly think that any team is going to sign Leetch?
