Briere, Kapanen fight in practise
Daniel Briere and Sami Kapanen came to fisticuffs in Philadelphia's practice on Monday.
Frustrations from a brutally honest meeting may have sparked the fight between the smallest players on the team. While both players denied any serious problems between them, it shows that the team is not playing the way it should. Strange as it sounds, this may actually spark the team to better play.

Both are nice guys. Do you think something is up in Philly?

Interesting finding. I agree with Canucks...especially Briere...He's a real nice guy. But we will probably know about it in the coming days.

RE: Briere, Kapanen fight in practise
It is a little interesting those two get at it but maybe there is something up between the two that's not being shared. But maybe it will be something that sends a message to the other players and be a catalyst for the whole team to play better and to shape up without doing stupid things and getting suspended.

It is not that uncommon for guys on the same team to get in fights during practice. I think whenever it does happen a big deal is made of it when it is usually nothing.
I'm not to concerned about it.

Theyre both pretty tiny, i dont think much bad can come from it. Just wished they would save that energy for the games.
