Do Colombus fans think he's the real deal or is he just the next Tuomo Rutuu (injured a lot, but good potential). How good do you think he'll be in his rookie year? I think he is supposed to center Nash & Vyborny.

i think hes the real deal, hes a exelent young player and will make a great #1 center for Nash in Zherdev

The main difference between Tuomo Ruutu and Gilbert Brule is size. Both have exceptionnal skill, but Ruutu is ''grittier''. However, Brule is less injury prone and will prove to be a good #1 center if he's pair with two big winger.
