Busy Blues sign eight players

I guess hockey season muct be nearing. Things are picking up. Here is a story for you Blues fans.

Bacashihua appeared in 19 games for St. Louis last season and had a record of 3-7-3. The 24-year-old had a 3.15 goals-against average.

Walker, 27, played in 48 games with the Blues last season, registering five assists. The 24-year-old Stastny was acquired in a trade with Boston in January and played in 21 NHL games last year.

Also Thursday, St. Louis signed defencemen Jeff Woywitka and Alex Brooks and forwards D.J. King, Mike Glumac and Charles Linglet.
