My all-time favorite player. I feel he would have been the best player the NHL ever had if it wasn't for the injuries. He did it all, and did it all well. In my opinion the closest current NHLer to compare to him is Guerin, and a healthy Neely is still way better. He was the reason I started watching the game in the first place.

Neely is my favorite all-time player, too. He defined the position "power forward." I think he was an underrated goalscorer (I think he once got 50g in 49 games) and I'm really glad he got elected into the Hall of Fame. Without injuries, I think he really would've had a chance to shine and show everone what kind of production he was capable of.

yeah Neely is definitly one of my Favourits too, its a shame about the injurys tho, so many great talents takin to early because of Knee injurys. its such a shame

Neely was awesome! he defined the 'power forward'! as well as being a great defensive forward a very prolific scorer! and to be amongst the 50 goals in 50 games club! a very good bruins player

I don't know a whole lot about Neely. All I've seen is the few clips of him in the "NHL's Greatest Goals" video hosted by Dennis Leary, Dan Moriarty, and Dave Coulier. There's one spin-o-rama goal against The Senators and a nice dipsy-doodle goal against The Nordiques. Both of those were pretty nice goals but other than that, I'm kind of drawing a blank.
