Well, these are just Rumors, but this is what I've heard
Canucks are interested in
Val Bure
Scott Young
Steve Sheilds
Brian Boucher

I wouldn't mind Scott Young for the right price

Yea i heard those. On the canucks.com forum it says that val bure was invited to the canucks training camp. Also on the canucks.com forum it says the nucks are interested in Boucher, but in the Vancouver sun it says that the canucks are interested in Sheilds.

Yea i wouldnt mind if Young was here too . But yea only for a good price. Nonis seems like he is signing people for a lot of money like chiounard 1.1$ mil. and he didnt get much points so it will show Kelser that he is worth 1.1$ mil too cause i think he good around the same point total that Chiounard got.

It may be a nice duo but so is Gagne and Forsberg. Do you remember who was leading the league in goals early on when Forsberg was still healthy? It was Gagne. He's more of a complete player than Naslund and he's younger. Unless they absolutely can't get him signed that would be a bad trade for the flyers.

wow somebody is actually interested in Steve Sheilds... man i thought that guy ran out of teams to play on! hes been on 5 different teams in the past five seasons.

If Mike Sillinger hasn't run out of teams then Shields definetely hasn't yet Smile

He's just a backup so it's not as weird for him to be switching teams yearly as it is for a good player. I think the canucks would sooner go with Flaherty then sign Shield, though.

I don't think he meant Playing for many teams is why no one would want him i think they wouldn't want him because he sucks, Sillinger was a 30+ goal scorer last year, so I don't think thats a fair comparison.
