Canucks re-sign Krajicek
http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=212528&hubname=nhl
CKNW in Vancouver is reporting that the Vancouver Canucks have signed defenceman Lukas Krajicek to a two-year deal worth $2.2 million.
Krajicek appeared in 78 games for the Canucks last season, scoring three goals and 16 points.
The Czech Republic native was originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the first round, 24th overall, of the 2001 Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Canucks along with Roberto Luongo and a sixth round draft pick for Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan Allen and Alex Auld on June 8th, 2006.
He has played in 168 career NHL games, recording six goals and 39 points over three years with Florida and Vancouver.
not a bad deal. krajicek is a pretty decent defenseman.

RE: Canucks re-sign Krajicek
Krajicek is horrible. He makes stupid playes and cough's up the puck always. He is no way worth 1.1m. I wish that we just traded him for a pick or something. I dont like him.

RE: Canucks re-sign Krajicek
I thought Krajicek still had potential to improve and become a decent 2nd pairing defenseman. When he was acquired with Luongo, I kept hearing that he had pretty good offensive skills. I guess I was wrong?

RE: Canucks re-sign Krajicek
Well they say he is a "Offensive Defenseman". I didnt notice it. Yes he did play on the second line PP unit never really did much. He did however pinch at the wrong times which cause alot of goals and 2 on 1's, he always left his man in front of the net. He is suposed to be an offensive defenseman with only what 3 goals, and 13 assists. I think he may have gotten more assists on the other teams.
