Capital sign NYLANDER Not Oilers
The Washington Capitals today signed veteran centre Michael Nylander to a four-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Hmmm interested not the Oilers......He might be good with Ovechkin.

RE: Capital sign NYLANDER Not Oilers
From Jagr to Ovechkin, I guess Nylander knows he needs someone to make him look good Not a bad signing by the Caps. I think they could be a borderline playoff team if they are consistent this year. They'll miss the playoffs, but they should be close.

RE: Capital sign NYLANDER Not Oilers
Yeah, Anyways the Caps I would say were a borderline playoff team last year the only reason why they wearnt was because Kolzig got hurt. But just before he got hurt I think they were in what 9th? Yes I can see the Capitals making the playoffs this year but I think that they can sign one more person to almost guarenty that post. Like maybe Nicklas Backstrom coming to play with them this year. But You never know they might not. From what I am thinking I think that mostly all the same teams from last season will make it in the playoffs except the Islanders, And I think Phily will take that spot. And im not to sure if Buffalo will make the playoffs this year, Toronto might take there spot.
