Carey price - where should he start?
Many people are now debating whether Carey Price should start the season as N2 goalie of the Canadiens team, or go back as N1 goalie of the Bulldogs. Even the GM Gainey and the coach Carbonneau don't seem to agree. Patrick Roy think that Price will benefit much more of being a N2 goalie with the Habs, playing around 20-30 games a year. I agree with this opinion. What do you guys think?

RE: Carey price - where should he start?
Wow that must be a hard situation to be in and put in. Do you want him to play in the AHL and let him be the starter and try to develop him more? Or let him in the nhl as a backup and he will see 20-30 games (roughly) and let him develop from that and have the nhl experience. ??
Me personally, I might have to say let him be the starter in the ahl just for this year and develop him a bit more and have him for next season ????

If he is going to get 30 games for sure I would put him in Montreal.

RE: Carey price - where should he start?
I think he's proved this past season another year developing in the minors won't help too much. He just plain dominated in the playoffs. I'd suggest bringing Price up as the #2 goalie with Halak and Huet splitting games as starters (perhaps Price could play 15, Halak 25, and Huet 40). This way Montreal can possibly trade Huet at the deadline if Halak & Price are handling the load well. I'm not saying the Canadiens should dump Huet, but if they could get something very good for him why not trade him and develop your younger talent when you are most likely not going to make it far in the playoffs?
