Im gonna go with Ovechkin, but Crosby only scored 4 less points than him and he's 3 years younger as well. But overall, i'd take Ovechkin.

What Crosby did was incredible. Considering he's 3 years younger and never played in a professional league, unlike Ovechkin, to only be a few points back of him is remarkable. They're too very different players, two different styles. I don't understand why everyone insists on comparing them and picking who's better. If they were both centers or both wingers it'd be a bit easier but the differences, I feel, are too many to judge them. Ovechkin is a scoring winger who is older and has more experience while Crosby is a young and somewhat immature playmaking center.

But if I was a team manager, I would take Sidney Crosby WAY before Alexander Ovechkin. Crosby is a marketting machine, he will produce twice more omney than Ovechkin could dream of.

its a tough call, but i think i'd go with crosby now that malkin is in pitts with him. but either way i'd be happy to build a team around either one of them.

If you want to build a long term elite team I would go with Crosby. Ovechkin is great player but not nessecarily the guy to build a team around. Look at players like Bure or Mogilny great talents but you can't really construct a team around them.

after a few maturing years in the league... could you imagine Crosby centering a line with Ovie? that would be a good line!
