RE: Ducks in 2007./2008. season

And another win for Anaheim, this time Teemu Selanne was the man of the dome/arena/center.

He scored his 1st hat-ritck this season along with 2 asist (5pts in all).

Hiller was in goal for home team, and he recived 3 goals but Anaheim's was better and scored 6.

With SO win San Jose also got 2 pts,so the fight for title in Pacific is still on.
Also Phoenix won with SO victory over St. Louis so they are alo very near and they can think about PO this year.

Man waht is Anaheim doing lately.
They are briliant,10 wins out of last 11,last one even without Randy Carelyle coaching, and Pronger was also in suit comanding defence.

They realy now got some mean crew asambled.

So along wins of Dallas and San Jose,Anaheim laso kept his winning streak,so i belive a race for division titile is still open.
They managed to beat their SC finals rivals Ottawa Sens in last night game 3-1,and tommorow they will be hosted ta Chicago Blackhawks, who teh ybeat 6-3 few weaks ago.

RE: Ducks in 2007./2008. season

One of the uglyest games for Ducks this season.
Too many PIM's in 1st 3rd and eventualy that resulted in 3-0 final score.
When will they reduce thier fighting and major penaltys.
With this kind of play no SC this year............

So Anaheim meats Montreal today, after not playing against them for few seasons.
Two losses in a row,Anaheim must bounce back today.I hope they do.

So despite Pronger being suspended for 8th games, that is 3rd time in less then a year,Anaheim managed to pull anoter win and that over slumping St. Louis Blues.

I wonder what will Burke and Carlyle say to Pronger after this incident,'coz in my opinion that i sno way for one captian to act.

Pronger strike again...

SO tonight is a meagduel among San Jose and Anaheim.
Both teams are hot and we can expect low goal scoring tonight, exp. if Anaheim stays out of P-box.
If this game comes to SO,then SJ have advantage in better shooters.

RE: Ducks in 2007./2008. season

Shithy performance by Anaheim's attack last night.13 SoGs that happend only in 2 of 3 periods.Last time the Ducks didn't shoot once in 1 period was against Dallas in 2000. season.
What is even worse Giguere had back spams so Hiller took his place and was the hero of Anaheim in the end stoping 41 of 43 shoots.
According to a team spokesman, Giguere's tried to work through the back pain during the warmup.

Giguere did not speak to reporters afterward.

"He skated this morning and was fine," Ducks Coach Randy Carlyle said.

It's unlikely Giguere will be available for tonight's game in Phoenix.

RE: Ducks in 2007./2008. season

So after falling 2-1 at San Jose, the Ducklings won at Phoenix with same result 2-1,2 g by Mr. Selanne.
Also Hiller was again 100% in teh net and stoped 30+ SoGs,so he is turning into an suitable back up for Jiggy.

I am just scared that he doesn't get hurt also and then Aubin steps up...........
