RE: Ducks in a new season

It was announced today that Scott Niedermayer will continue serving as the Captain of The Ducks while Rob Niedermayer and Chris Pronger will serve as The Assistant Captains. While mildly disappointing that Selanne doesn't have the "A" anymore, it doesn't really bother me because I know that you don't have to have a letter to be a leader.

4-3 FT,1.st win for Ducks although it was a hard game,32-44 SOG for Kings, just 10-22SOG in 1st preiod, and that new kid Anze Kopitar, what a player he could be!!

Come on Anaheim defence,Niedermayer/Pronger,get your head cleard :-)

And another flwless victory for still mighty Ducks, with 1-2 win over Coyotes...

Tomorrow against Blues another win???

Go Bryzgalov Go,i'm betting that he will become goalie No.1 this season!!

I think Giguere will still be number 1 come playoff time....but that's my opinion.

RE: Ducks in a new season

Great for Bryz to sign +1 year more, but amount of money is too low, maybe for Russian that is very high :-) :-)Thumb_up1Thumb_up1!

Tonight Ducks host strugling Coyotes, who r having trouble with PIM and offence, but what worys me is that Ducks alowed 37.7 SOG per game, and they maybe have top defence in leauge today Niedermayer/Pronger!
But however,i'm looking to another Duck win tonight and their best season start in last 14 years!!

Cya

RE: Ducks in a new season

And they didn't disappoint. Kunitz had a whale of a game and Giguere looked GREAT!

Now onto The Islanders. Should be a good game. The Ducks can't discount New York. They'll be super hungry for a win tonight because they haven't won yet this season.

RE: Ducks in a new season

Ducks up 1-0 off a wrist shot by Sami Pahlsson. The forecheck is looking SPECTACULAR. The Islanders defensemen don't have time to do anything in their own zone. This is more like it!
