Dumont awarded $2.9 mil
What a surprise, another overpayment. I think they let him walk. His trade value won't be high with that ridiculous salary. They have enough depth on wing to make up for the loss.

RE: Dumont awarded $2.9 mil
thats wayy to high for Dumont, but now Anson Carter can say he's a bargain at 3 million lol, only reason was because of the sedins.
Doesn't look like sabres are going to be able to keep this core group together

RE: Dumont awarded $2.9 mil
For the ones who understand the FRench, On Rds.ca( http://rds.ca/hockey/chroniques/210279.html), Dumont told that Montreal is in the top of his list. I really want a player like him who score 20 goals in 54 matchs last year. ANd it's a quebecer!!

Even though the sabres decided to walk away from the 2.9 they made an offer to him right after they walked away.

Not possible, once a team has exercised it's right to walk away from a player they cannot sign him that year. Who told you that? A friend of a friend of a friend?
