Michael Grabner is a reach at 14th...
Anyone seen him play?
He isn't a reach at 14. He is an explosive offensive player that has the potentiol to be a 35-40 goal scoring first line winger. He is a great skater with a great shot. Ill post more about him later.
Well he was ranked rather low by most poeple. 47 looks like by that X-Sharkie person. Almost all the nuck picks were boom and bust
Do you know any of the nucks prospects at all. They have plenty of safe guys to play on the third and fourth lines, they need some boom or bust picks to play on the top lines.
Look i totally agree with you. We need some guys with some upside. I said that right when the nucks drafted him i mean who honestly had Grabner going 1st. Noone thats who a suprise pick that no one thought he would be drafted this high s even with 1st liner upside.  Nori did i readabouthim when i commented.  Top prospects generally aren't boom and boost like Grabner. It's either 1st/2nd liner or bust with him. Defence can be taught offence is more natural. I like this pick i like that Nonis got some guys with potential but you are overating van's depth.

He was actually suppose to go around the 20 area give or take a little, but he defintley was suppose to go first round.

After the coming of Nathan Smith, I'm not really a fan of "safe picks" anymore... Why has he not become the player that the scouts wanted in him?

Nathan Smith has been injured much of his career and it has hurt his development.
