Entry Draft

Anyone going? I live in the kootenys...
I would imagine Nonis will get some more picks with clouts, noronen more then likely to be traded.

Noronen really wants to be a starter not a back up but i don't know if he has proved it.

He isn't a reach at 14. He is an explosive offensive player that has the potentiol to be a 35-40 goal scoring first line winger. He is a great skater with a great shot. Ill post more about him later.

RE: Entry Draft

Here is more about him courtsy of X-Sharkie from Hfboards.com
47. F Michael Grabner 6-0 175 WHL 67-36-14-50
Scouts Take: “ Grabner came through as a goal scoring threat in his first season in North America. Born in Austria, Grabner has fantastic hands with great offensive upside, however he has some issues that prevent him from being a first round pick in my opinion, although his offensive upside is high enough to warrant a pick there. Grabner is a magician with the puck, can dance around the ice with the puck and handles it with ease. Can overhandle the puck and needs to use his line mates more. Plays a selfish game, doesn’t pass the puck enough, gets to cute with the puck, and what really irks me is that if he loses the puck he often just gives up on the play and comes off lazy. Confuses me because when he does pass the puck he’s a very good play maker. He can force the opposition to back off and than deliver a beautiful pass, shows impressive vision and is great at executing difficult passes. Has a creative side and is a confident player with the puck. His shot is very nice, he releases it quickly and it can be deadly accurate. He is a goal scorer. Has fine speed, isn’t a deadly skater but is quick with strong lateral cuts and a nice change of gears. Likes to take the puck to the out side, but doesn’t drive the net. Lacks desire and backs down from physical play. I love his pure skill, but he lacks a competitive edge at times, can disappear for long stretches, and is still to enigmatic. If a team is confident that his high end skill will over shadow his lackadaisical approach than they could take him in the first. I would wait on him though and hope he slips. Has a good set of hands, is a great playmaker who has good vision and executes his passes well. Very creative and is dangerous to deliver a game breaking pass.

Well he was ranked rather low by most poeple. 47 looks like by that X-Sharkie person. Almost all the nuck picks were boom and bust

Do you know any of the nucks prospects at all. They have plenty of safe guys to play on the third and fourth lines, they need some boom or bust picks to play on the top lines.
