Martin Brodeur - #30 - Goaltender
           News: Martin Brodeur is expected to make his sixth straight start Wednesday against Pittsburgh.
Impact: Scott Clemmensen has been told that he will get one start this week, with tomorrow night against Nashville a good bet. Brodeur should play a lot of games this year, with 75 of the Devils 82 not out of the question. (Wed. Oct 18, 2006)  


Brad Lukowich - #21
News: Brad Lukowich was unable to practice Tuesday because of a bruised left ankle.
Impact: "We're treating it like a bone bruise and we're trying different taping (methods)," Lukowich said. "Only one motion is really bothering me and from (Monday) night to (Tuesday) morning, there was a vast improvement." Lukowich will try to skate today in Pittsburgh, but if he is unable to go tonight rookie Alex Brooks will take his place in the lineup after making his NHL debut Monday. (Wed. Oct 18, 2006)  
News: Brad Lukowich missed Monday's game with a foot injury.
Impact: Lukowich was hit on the left foot during New Jersey's game on Saturday against the Flyers and was unable to play tonight as a result. He is considered day-to-day for now.
