Flames to pickup...?
I'd like to see one of Savard, Arnott or Cullen. Most likely Savard is too expensive for us, and Arnott will be overpaid to go somewhere else. I like Cullen's skill set and his speed could be dangerous with Tanguay and Iginla on his wings.
Another guy who could play on our second line is Anson Carter, assuming he doesnt resign with the Nucks.
We also need another depth defensemen. Look for Sutter to find an underrated D-man on another team and try to develop him.
Discuss.

RE: Flames to pickup...?
I think the Flames should avoid Carter. He had one great year (his only 30 goal year) because the Sedins kept feeding him the puck. I also heard he doesn't want to stay in Vancouver because he wants to cash in this offseason. I think he wants around $2.5 million per year. IMO, he won't be worth whatever he signs for.

RE: Flames to pickup...?
for a #1 center i think arnott would be a good fit, hes a tough skilled center with pretty good speed, and should cost Too much,
as for carter, id be fine if he signs with the flames, theres Alot better line mates the canucks can get for the sedins.

RE: Flames to pickup...?
Neither of them would be good for Calgary IMO. Savard would cost too much and Jason Arnott dosn't bring is A game on the ice each night ... I don't think Sutter would appreciate that!
Anson Carter would be good for a resonable amount ... like someone said earlier, 2,5M would be way too much for a 20 goals scorer
