Game Day 11/23

Only one game tonight? Well, here's hoping the Preds can end the 3 game win streak on the Canucks.

RE: Game Day 11/23

The Preds will lose to the Canucks who just beat Detroit yesterday in OT. Canucks were down 3-1 in the 3rd and came back and won 4-3!

I don't know if Luongo is playing or not. If he isn't playing I can't see the Canucks winning this game tonight.

Looks like the canucks should have played Luongo. Does anyone know why he played for 7 minutes? Did they pull him because of the goal he let in or did they just want to give the other guy a break?

RE: Game Day 11/23

From Yahoo! NHL:

Quote:
Vancouver backup goalie Dany Sabourin gave up five of the six goals. He was benched at 12:37 mark of the second period, with Roberto Luongo playing the rest of the period. Sabourin returned to play the scoreless third.

There is no way that the Canucks will win 4 in a row this year. It's just not there for them this time around. However, they might if they can make some sweet trades. That also might be hard because the best guy in the business was given up on (Brian Burke).

Edit: I also think this whole idea of back to back games is garbage. Most teams will lose their second game. It just isn't a good idea in today's NHL.
