Game Day 11/24

You know everyone, in order for the game day threads to work, you need to input. It doesn't matter if it's a "GO <your_team_here> GO!!" or a "<opposing_team_here> sucks!".

On that note: GO OILERS GO!!!!!!!!!! Going for 5 unbeaten streak, at home where they sit pretty with a 9-2 record.

Hurricanes/Bruins
Blue Jackets/Philadelphia
Coyotes/Wild
Penguins/Islanders
Devils/Ducks
Maple Leafs/Capitals
Blues/Red Wings
Senators/Panthers
Canadiens/Sabres
Thrashers/Lightning
Kings/Stars
Blackhawks/Oilers

Leafs fans, keep this updated with the Ovechkin goals!!! lol

you're in oil country

RE: Game Day 11/24

All these afternoon games on a weekday, it's going to be weird. I can watch the canes while I eat my lunch lol. With a win they can climb back atop the division. Go canes!

I'm interested on seeing how Hitchcock will do behind the bench with his new team against his old one.

RE: Game Day 11/24

Canes game is underway. Looks like they showed up with their skating legs today. Grahame is getting his second straight start, the guys really owe him a win after they left him hanging on Wednesday. Started out with an early canes pp but was negated when the bruins drew a penalty.

Wow....David Tanabe is so terrible. I know that yet every time I see him play he does something even worse that surprises the hell out of me. Having him on the pk today is scaring the crap out of me.

Grahame has really turned things around after his terrible start to the year. His last two games and so far today he's been really good.

And with a minute to go in the first Eric Belanger makes it 1-0 canes on the powerplay. Assists go to Eric Staal and Trevor Letowski.

Scoring change, goal now credited to Eric Staal with assists coming from Trevor Letowski and Scott Walker. Second Period underway. BJ's and Flyers should be getting going soon.

RE: Game Day 11/24

Canes make it 2-0 after incomparable puck pressure. Mowers was stickless so it was pretty much a powerplay. Justin Williams got the goal from Scott Walker.

RE: Game Day 11/24

Right off the faceoff Cole makes it 3-0, chasing Thomas from the net. Sauve is heading into the net now. Goal is under review.
