Gaustad Done for the Year

Buffalo Sabres forward Paul Gaustad suffered an ankle laceration against the Ottawa Senators Wednesday, February 7th. Gaustad will need surgery to repair the laceration to a tendon in his left leg that is scheduled for Tuesday and will be out for the remainder of the season.

Gaustad has a career-high tying nine goals and 13 assists in 54 games this season.

If some of the people dont watch the Sabres they won't know what a huge loss he is to the team. He is the most physical player on the team and he sticks up for everyone else on the team.

Ugh... Gaustad was having such a good season too..
Poor guy! *sigh* Here's Paille's chance to step up I guess. But he can't fill Gaustads spot.
