HAPPY BELATED B-DAY TO CHELIOS

In turning 45 years old last Thursday, Chris Chelios is now the oldest player to ever play defense in the NHL.

Chris says he plans to play again next year. He doesn't have a contract yet but says he feels better than ever.

I heard an interesting fact that Yzermans last fight was in 1995 against Chelios.

I heard that as well, and thought it was kind of funny. That is amazing that a 45 year old feels that way after playing for a long time as it is.

If he can play a while longer, he could challenge Howe! Ok, not really, but how old was Howe when he retired?

that guy is amazing I think he will play at least 2 more seasons,if he doesn't get a new contract,another team will be glad to take him over.

I doubt Chelios would keep playing at all if he weren't going to be a Wing. He will retire a Red Wing.
