I think Colorado did a smart thing. Hannan is a solid defenseman who can help them keep division rivals like Gaborik, the Sedins, Iginla, and Tanguay in check.

Well yeah this was a great signing for the Avs. I am not happy with it as a canucks fan Sad He is a great stay at home defenseman. I bet tkaine is mad too.

He is a great stay at home defenseman. I bet tkaine is mad too.

I knew he was going, but like any homer I was hoping he would leave the conference.

Atlanta could have made a real splash if they had picked him up. Playing the Caps 8 times per year and Hannan always has Ovechkin on complete lockdown. That would have been a very valuable asset to that organization.

You blew it, Atlanta. Big time.

yeah I wished he signed in the Eastern Conference too. Sad

Now we got to play him 8 times a season. He will change the outcomes of games.
