Havalt signs 18M$/3 years
I just saw it on TSN television. No link on internet.
Wow, now I can see a clear winner on this deal. I wonder why he was saying to Ottawa he only want a 1 year deal, for after siging three year with Chicago.
Lucky fan!

Not at all Eagle. We got 2 prospects and Tom Preissing.
Preissings last season stats:
2005-2006 Sharks GP:74 G:11 A:32 P:43 +/-:17 PIM:26
And for only 600k next year its a great deal. It also frees up alot of cap to bring someone else into the Ottawa Senators mix.

Theres a shock havlat signed a 3 year deal, i thought he would only sign one year deals so he can become a free agent again, 3/18 mil is about right maybe a little to high for him though.

Hes way overpaid, hes injury prone, but this could be a good deal for the hawks if he breaks out and plays to his potenial, but thats very unlikley.

Is way overpaid, and? Chicago as to respect the salary floor and giving 4, 5 or 6 million for Martin Havlat isn't a huge deal for them. It's probably the only place, with Washington, that Havlat could have fetch a big deal like that. Chicago can now count on a 1st line winger, to play with the young players of the organization.
Really a good deal for Chicago. I think it's a good deal for the three team.
