RE: Hockey Cards

Hey Modano Fan, first of all, I encourage you to introduce yourself in the welcome room. We like to spend time welcoming our new members here at qnhl.com.

Second, I will make sure to boost this marketplace section, by advertizing it and making it more seen on the main page. We will definitely have more collectors joining the site, and I am sure some people will trade/buy from you.

RE: Hockey Cards

I have a huge collection of hockey cards.Haven't added to the collection for 10 years.I have a Lanny Mcdonald card from when he was with the Colorado Rockies.I have a Forsberg,Roy and Brodeur rookie cards.

On a side note..I have a Honus Wagner baseball card worth thousands. That one is in my safe. Not sure how much the Lanny is worth. Can't seem to find it.

Any trades welcome.Wouldn't mind adding an Ovechkin,Nash,Staal,Crosby and Ward cards to my collection if anyone is willing to part with some doubles or whatever.

RE: Hockey Cards

i was more into collecting other sports cards such as baseball (i had over 1000 in my baseball collection), football and basketball when i was a kid. i don't remember collecting hockey cards but every once in a while now i do buy a pack or two. earlier this summer i picked up a pack (never opened) from the 1989-90 season in a garage sale for 50 cents and in the pack i got some players that i recognized like wayne gretzky, grant fuhr, and ray borque (just keep in mind that i was only 4 years old in the 1989-90 season, so i don't know a lot of players from way back when). does anybody know if they might be worth something (like the gretzky, fuhr, and borque cards)?

RE: Hockey Cards

I have a somewhat decent sized collection of hockey cards. I need to figure out how much some of them are worth because I'd imagine that quite a few of them would bring in some pretty good money.

RE: Hockey Cards

I have sadly wayy to many cards... a lot of commons, but also quite an impresive (i think) collection of cards.. I have nearly 600 different Ray Bourque cards.. My coolest pull every was a Bowman's Best Mirror Image Fusion Atomic Refractor with Gretzky on one side and someone else on the other.. BV was $900 (a $30 card with a 30X multiplier). I ended up trading it 3 years later for about 1/2 it's value in Bourque and Joe Thornton RC's... The pack cost me $3.75 american

RE: Hockey Cards

I still buy the odd pack now and then but haven't really collected since the mid 90s. My favorite part of my collection is that I have over 1000 Wayne Gretzky cards. I've got most rookie cards from between the 89 and 94 seasons plus a pretty good shape Patrick Roy rookie. Also have a Gordie Howe card from the early 60s signed.

I like the cards with the game used jerseys on them.

RE: Hockey Cards

i like those cards but i think they are a little overrated. cause they cost $10 - $30 for a card but i think it should cost about $40 - $70 becasue it is gameworn. it just doesn't make sense to me
