Hurricanes activate forwards Adams and Ladd from injured list

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The Carolina Hurricanes activated forwards Kevyn Adams and Andrew Ladd from the injured list on Saturday.

Adams, 32, has missed six games with a wrist injury. The center has two goals and two assists in 34 games this season.

Ladd, 21, missed eight games after undergoing an emergency appendectomy on Dec. 14. In 27 games, the left winger recorded three goals and two assists.

The Hurricanes also reassigned forward Keith Aucoin to the Albany River Rats of the AHL on Saturday.
