RE: Hussein Sentenced to Death
He's going to get hung. And I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was televised on Pay-Per-View.
"How would you know? When I played you were in your 3rd year of

RE: Hussein Sentenced to Death
I too think his death should be televised. Then everyone around the world can breath a sigh of relief together knowing he's gone and can't hurt anyone ever again!!!!!!!

i hate to say it but it is going to get alot worse for the troops if those idoits make a marter out of him
Well let's hope that doesn't happen! Bush will probably send more troops in the days leading up to HIS HANGING.

RE: Hussein Sentenced to Death
For the majority of people there, his death will be a celebration. I don't know that any of Saddam's supporters would risk the retaliation of they attempt to do anything near it.

RE: Hussein Sentenced to Death
Well, 9-11 was caused by a combination of things, not just their lack of fear for retaliation but you're right in that respect. These people don't fear death, they embrace it. These are people who, for lack of a better way to describe it, are happy to die. They gladly march to their own death's (and needlessly take others with them, willingly or not) because they have been lied to by people who misconstrue their religions beleifs to further their own personal causes. So I guess retaliation is inevitable in a sense, they beleive they are commiting the ultimiate sacrifice when in fact they would be condemning themselves to whatever the harshest of consequences would be for their perspective religion (hell, purgatory, degrade of social/ecological status in the next life, etc.). Hypocrisy with a strange sense of irony. The only thing you can do to combat that is to not give in and fear what they might do, thats exacly what they want. Show them that their actions will only bring a greater reaction from us.
As far as Saddam goes, no death is proper for him, he's not good enough for anything short of feeling the pain he caused to not only those he killed but the families of his victims. I don't feel like death is enough of a punishment for him but keeping him alive in jail is a needless strain on resources and is even less harsh of a punishment than sentencing him to die. Unfortunately all the things he really deserves are totally inhumane (which is fine with me, I consider him to be less than human anyway) but it wouldn't make us any better than him to resort to that (which is obviously why he even got a trial in the first place, I mean come on, we all know there was absolutely no way he was going to will that trial and even if by some technicality he did, someone would murder him anyway). I will personally be glad to see the world rid of his presence, I seriously doubt anyone but his brainwashed followers will argue with that.
