i think that this is the year for the islanders ... they tryed so hard to go ot the 2nd round ... and they never do ... but i think that is is there year .... whos with me

They seem a lil bit better than normal, but thats not better than much to start with.

They beat The Ducks....but that's because of a two minute brain fart in which the Isle scored 3 goals...still, it takes some talent to do that

Well so far their 15 year guy doesn't seem to be paying off with Dipietro having 3 loses and Dunham with 2 wins. I think Dipietro will be ok once he gets going, he is probably feeling a ton of pressure right now. Last year neither Satan nor Yashin were as good as they can be so even though they didn't add much during the off-season, if those two can get going the team should be better than last year.

Yeah, DiPietro has been anything but impressive. I find it funny that a goalie that had to be invited to camp on a try-out basis is currently their number 1 guy.
