Iginla signs extension with Flames

The Calgary Flames have signed team captain Jarome Iginla and Robyn Regehr to 5-year, contract extensions, the club announced Wednesday.

Iginla's contract is worth an average of $7 million per season and Regehr's worth $4 million per season. Both contracts will start after the 2007/08 season.

Great deal for the Flames. Iginla is worth way over $7M if he would make it to the free market.
