Jovanovski

Where do you think he'll end up? Supposedly, he already bought a new house in Boca Raton, Florida. However, after McCabe's contract Jovanovski wants around $6 million a year Exclamation Do you think he is worth that much? Personally, I think thats a little steep. Here is the article that talks about Jovo (his stuff is at the very bottom of the article):

I hope they dont give him 5 mil a year though...I think he's worth 3.5-4 max

RE: Jovanovski

5 million would be a little steep but it isint that bad, jovanovski is a great offensive defenceman, and a great personality in the dressing room and the community, as you saw if you fallow the canucks, when he was injured the team missed him greatly, but he is fairly fragile with that glass groin but hopefully that surgery + all this summer to rest up he will be able to come back strong

RE: Jovanovski

With the problems that canucks have with their big offence players(Naslund Bertuzzi...) I don't think he will change of team. ANd this season, they had 3-4 defence injuries and they we're needing extra ones. And I don't think that his salary would be over 5 millions.

RE: Jovanovski

Jovo's worth 5 million in my opinion. If McCabe can rake it in, then Jovo should be worth just as much. Given the oppertunity, he can put up just as much points as McCabe. He's a talented offensive defenseman, who knows when to jump into the play and pinch, and he'll be surely missed on the Canucks blueline. I just hope we can find a guy to fill the hole Jovo will leave.

Jovo doesn;t fit in at Florida, Also i think he is looking for a team that can go further.
Other teams linked to him that sound more likely are Buffalo, Ottawa, Rangers, Atlanta, NAshville, and Phoniex,

I'd liek to see him in Phoniex, that would shake up the team into a great team to wacth.

I agree.

CAnucks are gonna have a couple of players to replace this year- Jovo, Bertuzzi, CArter. 1st time in a long time actually have $ to spend on ufa's. Boynton would be the idealistic for Jovo and his trade value is rather low right now
