The Buffalo Sabres have agreed on a $7 million, three-year deal with restricted free-agent forward Ales Kotalik just two days before his scheduled arbitration hearing.

i'm glad that they agreed on something before going to arbitration. i definitely see it as a good thing when teams and players can agree on something before abitration and hopefully not pay a huge, ridiculous amount.

he set career highs last year but im a sabres fan and i see him alot more than you guys and sometimes he plays lights out and cant be stopped but then there are other days where you might say did kotalik play yeasterday. i like him but i hope sabres signed him for no more than 1.1 million he aint worth it on those bad days

Kotalik is a great player but 2 mil might be a bit much because hes not a great or a good player hes a pretty good player. He doesnt really pass much what i see when he gets in the zone he just shoots sure he has one of the best shots on the sabres but he needs to look to pass more.
