I like this series, these kids die in the funniest ways.. can't help but enjoy it. Sometimes you have to question the writers though, because when you see the behind the scene footage and stuff, you notice that these actors can really act, and the special effects are right on, but it's all too predictable still.

Beerfest, meh, not bad. 7/10. Very funny at times but not the best comedy flick I've seen. Still enjoyable though if you need a good laugh.

Fight Club, 10/10. Watched this one 5-6 years ago, maybe more, and forgot truly how amazing it was. This is the kind of movie that must be watched more then once, not that it's hard to follow but it's just that good. Definitely one of the best movies I have seen by far.

V for Vandetta...Just bought it on DVD and I must say it is pretty damn good. I had a chance to watch it in theatres when it was playing but I opted out and saw the Inside Man instead. (Inside Man is also an awesome movie) I'd give this movie a 10 forsure, though.

Silent Hill

I thought they did an excellent job making this movie look and feel like the game without compromising anything from the story. Anyone who has played one or two of the games will most likely enjoy this movie a lot. It meshes elements of the first 3 games into a backgroud story of how the town itself came to be tainted as it is in the games, and answers a lot of questions about the town that the game didn't go in to. I also thought the sound of this movie was particuarly good, as sound effects taken straight from the game can be heard throughout the movie (such as the original score and other farmiliar music from the first 3 games, which help to set the mood a lot better). Again, those who haved played the games (at least the first or second) will recognize farmiliar scenes in the movie such as the Grand Hotel and Midwich School or refrences to places from the 2nd game such as Taluca Lake (at one point even farmiliar street names from the 2nd game can be seen on a map of the area). Unfortunately, I don't think this movie is for every one. Even I had a hard time following it near the end the first time I watched it and I have played through 2 and a half of the games so I would suggest passing on this movie if you aren't a fan of the game or never played it as it's just not going to have the same effect on you and I doubt you will be able to appricate it for what it's worth. Otherwise, I thought Silent Hill was an excellent portrayal of the game as a movie and by far the best game-based movie yet to be made (and yes, I liked the Resident Evil movies but I think they could have been better).

Another good movie to watch is FEARLESS, I was watching it tonight until my dvd player froze. wicked movie until that happened. Awesome fight scenes.

The previews for this movie don't give it any justice. Jon Header does a good job in this one- it's probably his best yet. [And he didn't have to act like a retard like in Napolean Dynamite]
The main character is this typical "nothing goes right" guy, and his friend refers him to this class that is supposed to turn you into a "man". He starts doing good, and even gets a date with his dream girl. Because he's doing so well, his teacher is tries to screw up his life because he's competition now [and psycho]
It definitely has it's funny parts, but has the romantic twist to it too!
