Leclaire a top 10 goalie in the league?
Pascal Leclaire has played great this season. He leads the NHL in shutouts and is top 2 in GAA & SV%. Do you guys think he's a top 10 goalie in the league or is he just riding the team's success as they buy into Hitchcocks defensive philosophy?
Personally, I think he ranks just outside the top 10. I think he's still too inconsistent and injury-prone to be ranked top 10. Not to mention, the team's defensive style of hockey helps him out a lot, too. IMO, this is how I'd rank the goalies right now (in no particular order, but by groupings instead):
:::top 4:::
Luongo
Nabokov
Lundqvist
Brodeur
:::5-8:::
DiPietro
Vokoun
Kiprusoff
Giguere
:::9-11:::
Miller
Backstrom
Huet
:::honorable mentions:::
Leclaire
Bryzgalov
Biron
Legace
