Last night the Florida vs Tampa game was only on the Tampa channel, Sun Network. I forget the guys names who were calling the game. The one guy who was evidently a former player they called the "Chief". They should call him the "Cheese". That way it could go with all the wine that guy served up. I have never heard anyone cry so much calling a game. He whinned about the refs and about the players.

I sure am glad I don't have to listen to him every game.

I miss hearring Mickey Redmond call the Wings games. He was entertaining.

I hate announcers that complain about every little thing and think that we really care what there opinion is on how 1 player is playing. Just call the game and that is what we want to hear!

Personally, I like the RDS annoncers, I rememeber Monsieur Pednault (the way they call him) and the other guy (I can't remember his name). They are very professional, and know what they are talking about. I hate when players suddenly become announcers, especially when they lack professionalism and objectivity.

Ok I did a little research. The guys names where Rick Peckham & Bobby "The Chief" Taylor. I guess Taylor was a goaltender in the 70's & ealry 80's.

He is also a whinner.
